Hello from the Murray household. I have been under the weather, so we have been watching a lot of television. Last night Wreck-It Ralph came on followed by The Incredibles: two perfect reasons for us not to get off the couch. We love both those movies, and I had forgotten how worried Violet was about her parents marriage and how a divorce is worse than death in her mind. But really divorce is the death of a relationship, so be on the lookout for bad guys so you can fight for your marriage as a team! (But remember NO capes!)

I know that combining families can be hard and boundaries have to be put into place, but you do not have to be rude about it. Remember next time you want to complain about your in-laws, ask yourself how would you feel if your spouse said that about your mom or dad. You can still voice concerns, just make sure you are doing in a way that is respectful of your spouse’s parents.
